How Nannies for Vacation Came to Be
In 2004 I missed and important event because I could not find a satisfactory babysitter for my son. He’s was 10 year old and I was not comfortable leaving him with my 14 year old neighbor, who was at the time the only option. At that point, I realized there was an opportunity in the childcare market here in Palm Beach, Martin and St Lucie County. 4 year later in 2008 Nannies for Vacation was born.
My goal was to change babysitting from hiring the teenager down the street to a professional, secure and trusted nanny service. We now have hundred families and businesses rely on Nannies for Vacation every week to fill their vast and varied childcare needs.
From the start Nannies for Vacation has distinguished itself through innovation. My ultimate goal is to make Nannies for Vacation “the” leader in the industry. It was important to me to define standards that would be truly important to families, Standards for safety convenience and quality.
My agency requires all nannies to complete a criminal record check and have a valid CPR/First Aid certificate. So the Families know that when a nanny arrives at their door from Nannies for Vacation she or he has been pre screened, has been trained in first aid, has a clean criminal record, and is most of all is someone I would personally trust to care for my own children.
We provide childcare placement options that are tailored to each specific families needs, whether that be a Full Time, Part Time, Temporary, or Short Term Placement. This flexibility also allows us to cater to a wide variety of nannies scheduling needs as well. We excel at matching families and nannies so that both of our client’s bases are completely satisfied. Most of all...we excel at finding great matches so that the kids are safe, happy and well looked after.
